PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:A non-woven, continuous strand, “A” glass surfacing veil for use in moderate to highly curved composite shapes where an improved or Class-A surface is required. The fibers are highly corrosion resistant under acidic conditions, providing excellent conformability and wet out.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: CURVEIL
All material is supplied in roll goods form with trimmed edges.
BINDER: Select correct binder for molding process application from the Binder Technical Data Sheet.
APPEARANCE: SI Veils are white in color, highly uniform and substantially free of tears, holes, glass beads and tails or other foreign materials.
PRODUCT WIDTHS: A full production roll is 120 inches wide. All SI Veils may be supplied to the customer’s custom specifications, ranging from 6-inches to 120-inches (0.16m to 3.05m). For narrow widths, a slitting charge may apply.

SPECIFICATIONS: Other custom weights may be possible, consult factory for price and availability.
*The roll length is reduced by 50% for any widths over 80”.
PACKAGING: All mats are wound onto a 3 inch I.D. heavy duty cardboard core and placed in a sealed polyethylene bag. When required, rolls are shipped on wooden pallets, typically 4 - 6 rolls per skid.

STORAGE: For best performance, all veils should be stored at temperatures between 10 C and 35 C with a relative humidity below 85%.
